RIGGERS WORKWEAR founded in 1991 and still, PROUDLY AUSTRALIAN OWNED.

We are Australia’s longest established workwear business, that is still managed by the original owners.  We are the sole manufacturers of RIGGERS® WORKWEAR, RIGGERS® FOOTWEAR, and PROGARD® PROTECTION.

Each one of our brands provides an extensive range of superior quality protective workwear. We have established a reputation for excellence and quality in the Safety environment. We supply the Mining, Engineering, Construction, Oil & Gas and many other industries. The business had its beginnings in 1991 when Jeff Keiles realized that there was an opportunity to create a range of workwear and safety products for the Australian market with superior quality, innovative designs, and excellent value for money. Initially, the range was focused on supplying quality overalls. However, this quickly expanded into other products.

By 1993 Workwear Industries had further expanded their range to include shirts, trousers, and jackets. Their RIGGERS® brand of workwear had fast become synonymous with quality and durability throughout the market.

Due to the rapidly expanding product range and customer base, in 2003 the company’s first warehouse was custom-built in Malaga, Western Australia.

In 2009, Jeff Keiles purchased FABRI-CELL International Australia to extend the company’s range and distribution network. FABRI-CELL’s Med-X and Fab-X range was re-branded as PROGARD® PROTECTION, and the Breathalon range formed part of the RIGGERS® WORKWEAR range.

In 2012, Workwear Industries introduced its footwear range, RIGGERS® FOOTWEAR. The success of the range was evident by the incredible demand from our customers. Since the initial introduction, Workwear Industries continues to improve the range with each design cycle by introducing new technology and features.

In 2013 Workwear Industries designed and built the company’s current office which is double the capacity compared to the previous warehouse. This was in anticipation of our rapid expansion and to provide state-of-the-art facilities for our staff and customers.

Future growth for Workwear Industries is focused on increasing the awareness of our brands (RIGGERS® WORKWEAR, PROGARD® PROTECTION, and RIGGERS® FOOTWEAR) by embarking on an aggressive marketing campaign. We are planning a national footprint and also the expansion of our current range of clothing, footwear, and disposable coveralls. We have acquired a warehouse in Melbourne to future service our eastern state customers.
